Quantum information and computation

Since this field is a major interest area of mine in which I've become increasingly active, I've decided to post some resources related to it for others. For those who are not familiar with the field, the primary motive is to understand computation, information and communication in terms of quatum mechanics. The reason for doing so is the result of the acknowledgment that these processes exist physically, and it is the Universe that ultimately governs the limitations and consequently the capacities of these processes.

Here are some introductory materials to quantum information and computation (I have not read all of them).
